Participation of PhD students

EPIP Association supports the attendance of PhD students with different backgrounds involved or interested in IP-focused research at its annual conferences through reduced registration fees. In addition, we invite PhD students registered for the conference to participate in a PhD workshop held on the morning of 11 September 2023 at no extra cost. Registration for the PhD workshop is separate and mandatory for PhD students registered for the conference. The workshop will feature two sessions and a research idea laboratory devoted to AI-related issues and a career panel.

PhD Awards

The EPIP Association will award two Young Scholar Awards for the best IP-related papers submitted by PhD students, one in the field of law and one in economics/management. The winners of the EPIP Young Scholar Awards will be announced during the Gala Dinner and will receive a €500 financial award each.
